The day had finally arrived which I had dreamt of for the past 1 year. It was time to buy a new car. Finally dad agreed to buy a new car. Now it was my job to evaluate all the deals I got from various dealers and select the best one, which was not a problem for me because I got the same deal from every dealer. The difficult part was choosing the best car dealer. I would like to inform all those people who are planning to buy a new car, please select you dealer carefully. They break the promise of promising you to render their best service* (after you have bought the car).
I finally selected a dealer, but I really don't know whether he will fulfill my expectations. This is what worries me a lot these days. And this is the reason why i am writing this post.
Why am I scared ???
The problem is I am scared to buy a new car because I am buying it from India where customer satisfaction is supposed to be ..... ummmm ... aahhhhh .... What? Where is the customer satisfaction ? Kidhar ? Kitthe?
In Hindi we say "mehmaan bhagwaan hota hai lekin customer bakra hota hai " :-) Rightly said ... I am amazed to hear that my friend got a 100$ rebate from Apple because he got an IPhone for 599$ and after two months its price fell by 200$. Well i guess that is a cool trick to retain your customer. But this was in the US of A. I wonder when will Consumer companies believe in the saying that "Customer is King". I have had such horrible experiences when it comes to Consumer goods.
It was my mothers birthday. My sister and i decided to gift her a microwave oven. I selected the oven ordered it paid in full cash before delivery. What do I get ??? a bloody old microwave which was put on display for 2 months.
If you happen to buy a mobile phone from Nokia store ... After buying the piece and paying they tell you you straight in the face to open the packing at own risk, If something is wrong then you will have to take it to the Nikia care center, The shop is not responsible .Wow!!! the salesman himself is not confident about the product, Whereas he was boasting about its reliability just a few minutes back.
I heard Walmart accepts things that they have sold previously to a customer if the customer doesn't like it after he reaches home and gives them a refund. Wow!!
I wonder why do we like foreign goods so much because once we have got it here in India and if it is not up to the mark, you will say that you can't do anything to exchange it. But if you get it from India you will have a big headache of trying to get it exchanged which you will never succeed in doing so.
Till then I am waiting for the my cars delivery! I hope they have given me a good and reliable machine. Fingers crossed !!
